A.: The Magic Bag is a 100%-natural product made of oats; it is not possible to wash it.
Q.: I don’t have a microwave oven. Can I heat the Magic Bag in a conventional oven?
A.: Though we don’t advise using a conventional oven to heat the Magic Bag, you could heat it in one if you take the following precautions:
- Preheat oven to 175ºF (80ºC).
- Wrap the Magic Bag in aluminum paper, leaving no part of the fabric uncovered.
- Place the Magic Bag in the middle of the oven for 45 minutes. Never leave it in the oven for over 60 minutes.
- Use a timer to make sure the maximum heating time is not exceeded.
Q.: Is it true that a Magic Bag can overheat?
A.: Yes. A bag heated longer than stated in the instructions can overheat, start to smoke and even catch fire.
Q.: Why do the instructions state that the Magic Bag should not be heated more than four times a day?
A.: Because the oat grains must be given time to regain their humidity. Oat grains heated more than four times a day will not be able to regain their humidity and can overheat. This is why we recommend you purchase a second Magic Bag if you wish to use it more frequently.
